Check

Lift the vehicle

 Never suspend the vehicle the center of the axle, always the extremities.

 Elevate the vehicle by the front axle and support it on stands.

Align steering

 Align the steering so that the wheels are oriented to the front.

Fix the support with comparing clock to the front axle

 Place the feeler at 5 mm from the upper axle sleeve.

Check the radial play "A"

 With aid of a lever installed in one of the wheel holes, force up and down (arrow) observing simultaneously the clearance value "A" shown on the dial indicator.

If a clearance is observed without indication on the comparing watch, check the clearance on wheel hub bearings and repeat the procedure.



If the value found exceeds the wear limit, replace the bushing or bearings of master pin.
