Checking

Remove cover for ball neck mounting.

Remove ball neck (1) from vehicle

 If ball neck (1) and ball neck mounting are dirty

- as a separate repair order:

Clean trailer hitch with detachable ball neck.

Check diameter of coupling ball (arrows)

 The ball neck (1) must no longer be used if it measures less than the minimum size.

Check function of ball neck (1).

 See Operator's Manual If there are problems, the ball neck (1) must no longer be used.
