 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Park the vehicle on leveled surface and engage the parking brake

 The correct oil level in the automatic transmission is of fundamental importance, as either excessive oil or insufficient oil are harmful and compromise the automatic transmission operation.

Place the automatic transmission into position (Neutral)

Check oil level on automatic transmission display

 Press buttons (5) and (6) simultaneously to show the oil level on the display (7).

Check oil level for automatic transmission using the oil dipstick

 Start the engine at 500-800 rpm on neutral position for approximately 1 minute.
