 Warning

Park vehicle on flat ground and activate parking brake

 Before stopping engine move transmission to neutral position.

Clean around drain plug (1) and remove it

 Prevent dirt particles from entering automatic box during oil change

 During the procedure, box temperature should be normal operating temperature (80 - 95 °C). Drain the oil in an appropriated recipient.

Remove converter drain plug (2) and drain oil completely

Check drained oil for contamination due to impurities, water or metal particles

If there is any sign of water:



Check the heat exchanger of the automatic transmission regarding the inner leaks.

If there is any metal particle:



Check for metal particles presence. Existence indicates that the automatic gearbox has been damaged and should be removed for evaluation and repair.

Install the converter drain plug (2) with the specified torque

 Replace the sealing ring of the converter drain plug (2).

Install box crankcase drain plug (1) according to the specified torque

 Replace the draining plug sealing ring (1).

Remove crankcase plastic end cover (3)

Remove filter case end cover (5) and remove filter element (7)

 Clean filter case end cover thoroughly.

Insert new filter element (7) and assemble filter case end cover (5)

 Replace the draining plug sealing ring (1).

Install crankcase plastic end cover (3)

 Replace crankcase plastic end cover (3) sealing ring (4). Grease sealing ring.
