Reset intervals only for the maintenance services performed.
An accidental resetting cannot be undone. The traffic or operation security of the vehicle can be in danger.
Stored oil data on engine oil and transmission must correspond to the oil quality (number of MB prescriptions sheet of auxiliary materials) and oil viscosity (SAE class). If necessary, the values must be changed. The exhibition sequence in the "maintenance" menu depends to the programming of the maintenance services.
Call station maintenance or maintenance dates
1 | - Turn the key to unlock the flywheel lock. Basic menu has been shown on multifunction display (5) |
2 | Press the button (1) as many times until the short text "MOT" shows on the multifunction display (5), as well as the date or travel until next maintenance schedule. |
3 | Press the button (2) until the service position is shown on multifunction display (5). |
Call station maintenance or maintenance dates
4 | Press the key (4) to exit from menu and choose another one. |
On multifunction display (5) the date or travel route in kilometers has been showed until the next maintenance place. |
Confirm service operation (restore services)
5 | Activate the service position on multifunction display (5). |
6 | Press the Reset (6) button (using a pen) and hold it for 1 second. |
Maintenance system will reset indicated maintenance schedule. |
Search and change the oil data stored
7 | Press the button (1) as many times until the multifunction display (5) shows the tool symbol with the abbreviation "MOT" and page no. of the MB auxiliary material requirement page. |
8 | Press the button (2) until desired menu appears: |
9 | Press the button Reset (6) (e.g. using a pen) as many times until engine or shifter oil viscosity or quality is shown (page no. of the MB auxiliary material requirement) on multifunction display (5). |
Choose the sulfur content of the fuel according to the country code list. |
10 | Press the button (4) to go back to main menu. |
