Remove

Remove front floor coverings

Left front floor covering

Install

Install fasteners for three-point seat belts

All required fasteners are included in the scope of delivery.

Commercially available devices/tools
Hand drill
Drill bit
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
Vernier caliper
Riveting tool

Install front floor covering

Left front floor covering

Tighten spacer (9) on threaded pin with suitable tool

Secure belt end fitting (8) of three-point seat belt with belt clamp (7)

Position belt lock tongue (6) on threaded pin, and tighten with star nut (5)


Make sure that belt lock tongue (6) is seated correctly on spacer (9).
Otherwise, belt lock tongue (6) is damaged.

Position left shoulder belt (2L) and right shoulder belt (2R) on front seat (1), and guide belt ends out backwards through belt feed-throughs on front seat (1)


Tear seam (4) must always be installed on belt feed-through pointing towards vehicle center on front seat (1).
Otherwise, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of an accident.

Connect right lap belt (3R) to seat belt buckle

Fasten belt end fitting of left lap belt (3L) in engagement on front seat (1)


Make sure left lap belt (3L) is routed correctly on front seat (1).
Otherwise, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of an accident.
