2 | Remove dash support switch module 2 (A76) | Do not detach connector from dash support switch module 2 (A76). | |
3 | Remove power mode/eco-roll (S194) button | ||

4 | Install cover (1) into free slot of dash support switch module 2 (A76) | ||
5 | Install dash support switch module 2 (A76) | ||
6 | Install new gear control (GS) shift control unit (A15) | ||
7 | Attach adhesive label (2) to gear control (GS) shift control unit (A15) | ||

8 | Connect Star Diagnosis | To adapt the parameters, the Star Diagnosis DAS update 06/2009 or later must be installed. | |
9 | Switch on ignition | ||
10 | Start Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS) | ||
11 | Select "Truck" menu | ||
12 | Select "Automatic model series entry with quick test" menu and confirm with "F2" button | ||
13 | Select "Modular switch panel" | ||
14 | Select "Control unit adaptations" | ||
15 | In the "Parameterization" menu select the "Specified dash support configuration" | ||
16 | Parameterize the "Power / Eco change-over" button to "not available" | ||
17 | Press "F1" button to exit the menu. | ||
18 | Save changes in "ZDS central data memory" | ||
19 | Press the "F1" button several times to return to the "Current quick test" menu | ||
20 | Select "FR drive control" menu | ||
21 | Select "Control unit adaptations" | ||
22 | Select "Parameterization" | ||
23 | Select "Parameter group for Mercedes PowerShift transmission 2" | ||
24 | Activate "Fleet mode" and confirm with "F3" | ||
25 | Press "F1" button to exit the menu. | ||
26 | Save changes in "ZDS central data memory" | ||
27 | Press the "F1" button several times to return to the "Current quick test" menu | ||
28 | Delete fault memory with "F9" button | ||
29 | Run a quick test with the "F5" button and delete the fault memory | If current faults are present, process them and delete the fault memory again. | |
30 | End Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS) | ||
31 | Disconnect Star Diagnosis |
