Communication with the central locking (CL) control modules and immobilizer with transponder (IMM)
The ATA control module is connected to the CL control module and (in vehicles that have an immobilizer) the IMM control module by means of a bi-directional single-wire cable. Command messages from the IMM control module are passed on to the CL control module via the ATA control module, and status messages are sent from the CL control module to the ATA control module.
The anti-theft alarm system is activated when it receives a "vehicle locked" message from the CL control module.
The anti-theft alarm system is deactivated when it receives a "unlock vehicle" message from the IMM control module.
