The receiving antenna is installed between the front end (left) and the instrument panel along the lower edge of the windshield.
The radio frequency remote control can lock and unlock the vehicle from any chosen direction. The maximum operating range with new batteries is approx. 10 m.
The LED in the transmitter key serves to monitor the state of the battery. After folding the key out or in the light emitting diode (LED) is illuminated briefly. If it doesn't illuminate the batteries need replacing. The minimum voltage for the radio frequency remote control is always lower than the LED's switching threshold.
