AD80.35-S-2002-05A | Radio frequency locking (RFL) control module post-synchronization system description |
Post-synchronization
If the key has been operated more than 255 successive times outside the range of the receiver (control module), the radio message is desynchronized. In this case, the receiver (control module) can be re-synchronized to the transmitter key message by operating the hinged key twice within 7 seconds.
This is only possible with transmitter keys that have not been deactivated.
Transmitter key
The transmitter key contains the following operational components:
HF transmitter (HF = high frequency)
Hinged key position detector
Coding component
EEPROM as non-volatile memory in order to survive a battery change
LED as battery status indicator
2 lithium button cells as energy storage
If the LED is no longer on, the batteries should be changed.
