Steering angle sensor teach-in process:
1 Connect EHZ bridging connector (1).
2 Switch on ignition.
Diagnostic fault code memory read-out process:
3 Switch ignition on and start engine.
4 Connect EHZ bridging connector (1).
If the incorrect process has accidentally been started:
- shut the engine off, pull out the EHZ bridging connector (1) and wait for at least 10 s.
- start the selected process.

If no EHZ bridging connector is available, pin 4 (L line) and pin 2 (ground ) can be bridged at the EHZ diagnostic socket (X119) using a bridging cable (11) from the electrical connection set.
