Notes on modifications to engine control module
Altogether the following control modules have been networked with the CAN data bus: DAS (A25), climate control (A20), automatic transmission (A4), ABS/ETS (A2), engine control module (A52) and instrument cluster (P15).
The following modifications have been carried out to the connections of the engine control module on engine 104.900 with code MR9, compared to engines 104.900 without code MR9:
Speed signal (DI/KSS) via CAN data bus instead of at pin A51.1/6.
Climate control information via CAN data bus instead of at pin A52.1/8.
Signal from combined engine control module double temperature sensor B65 via CAN data bus to instrument cluster.
Oil warning lamp signal from instrument cluster via CAN data bus instead of at pin A52.1/31.
Vehicle speed signal via CAN data bus instead of at pin A52.1/20.
A/C control pressure switch B21 deleted.
