Gas detection unit for determining and localizing leaks in hydrogen system.
Procurement information:
This criteria catalog serves to provide support for selection of variants of workshop equipment available on the free market. It just describes the minimum requirement for fulfilling the Mercedes-Benz standard. There is therefore no reference made to manufacturer specific equipment or devices.

Minimum requirements:

Measuring range: At least 10  ppm to 999 ppm and 0.1 % by volume to 4.0 % by volume

Measurement value display: The hydrogen concentration is output in an increment less than or equal to 10 ppm and/or 0.1 % by volume.

The measuring tip is attached to a flexible extension (gooseneck).

The device produces acoustic feedback regarding the hydrogen concentration for the user.
