Remove seat cushion

Drill 4.5 mm dia. bore (arrow) underneath seat cushion.

Crimp cable lug (1) to ground line (2)

Attach cable lug (1) at seat cushion using bolt and nut

 Remove paint at the contact surface of the cable lug (1).

Route ground line (2) along seat cushion in/out adjustment cable

 Install cable ties along the length of the ground line (2).

Cut ground line (2) to length and crimp cable lug (3) to ground line (2)

Cut ground line (2) to such a length that there is no pull on cable lug (3) when it is fastened at the bore (4) on the seat frame.

Crimp cable lug (5) to ground line (6)

Use bolt and nut to fasten cable lug (3, 5) in seat frame bore (4)

Route ground line (6) into the lower seat frame (7)

 Install cable ties along the length of the ground line (2). Route ground line (6) so that it cannot be chafed and fasten it to the existing Bowden cables and air lines.

Route ground line (6) out of seat frame (7)

Cut ground line (6) to length and crimp cable lug (8) to ground line (6)

Screw cable lug (8) to existing threads on seat frame (7)

 Remove paint at the contact surface of the cable lug (8).

Attach seat cushion
