Connect diagnostic unit

Use XENTRY Diagnostics version 10/2016 or higher with all available add-ons. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per XENTRY Diagnostics! Make sure that the vehicle's on-board electrical system battery has sufficient voltage supply (more than 12.5 V) by using a battery charger.

To do so, select Quick test view  A40/3-COMAND online (COMAND)  Adaptations  Control unit commissioning   Commissioning of currently installed control unit menu item.

Then follow the user guidance in Xentry Diagnostics.

If two or more instances of control unit programming or SCN coding are carried out during a workshop visit, the operation items 02­4762 and 02­5058 must only be charged once for each workshop order.
