Connect diagnostic unit

Use XENTRY Diagnostics version 09/2015 with all available add-ons or a newer version. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per Xentry Diagnostics! Make sure that the vehicle's on-board electrical system battery has sufficient voltage supply (more than 12.5 V) by using a battery charger. If Xentry Diagnostics is already connected to the vehicle, continue with operation step 3.

Program telematics services communications module control unit (N112/1 or N112/2)

To do so, select Control units view  Information and communication  KOMO  Communications module, telematics services  Adaptations  Update control units  Select update control unit software menu item.

Then follow the user guidance in Xentry Diagnostics.

In the final documentation for XENTRY Diagnostics, the software release 15/22 or later must be documented.

If two or more instances of control unit programming or SCN coding are carried out during a workshop visit, the operation items 02­4762 and 02­5058 must only be charged once for each workshop order!
