Connect diagnostic unit

Use XENTRY Diagnostics version 03/2015 with add-on 4414 or higher. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per Xentry Diagnostics! Make sure that the vehicle's on-board electrical system battery has sufficient voltage supply (more than 12.5 V) by using a battery charger. If Xentry Diagnostics is already connected to the vehicle, continue with operation step 3.

In some model 218, 242, 246 vehicles it may be that an additional telematics CD with HLI 000 000 21 58 is required. If necessary, this is indicated by Xentry Diagnostics prior to the flash procedure. Order this telematics CD through the usual channel.

Program telematics services communications module control unit (N112/1, N112/2)

To do so, select Control units view  Information and communication  KOMO  Communications module, telematics services (N112/1)  Adaptations  Control unit programming menu item.

Then follow the user guidance in Xentry Diagnostics.

In the final documentation for XENTRY Diagnostics, the software release 15/03/06 or later must be documented.
