No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Open cap (7) on fuel tank

Clean fuel tank in area of fuel level sensor (B39)

Remove securing clamp (6)

Detach fuel line (1) from fuel level sensor (B39)

Collect escaping fuel.

Installation: Do not tilt fuel line (1) as otherwise the sealing rings (2) may be damaged. Replace cable tie.

Replace sealing rings (2) on connection of fuel line (1)

Install in the reverse order

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and perform an engine test run

Switch off engine and check connections on fuel level sensor (B39) for leaktightness

Visual inspection.
