Programming

Connect diagnostic unit.

Use XENTRY Diagnostics version 09/2018 or higher with all available add-ons. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per XENTRY Diagnostics! Make sure that the vehicle's on-board electrical system battery has sufficient voltage supply (more than 12.5 V) by using a battery charger. If XENTRY Diagnostics is already connected to the vehicle, continue with operation step 3.



Program Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4).

 To do so, select menu item Quick test view  N30/4 Electronic Stability Program (ESP)  Adaptations  Control units update  Update of control unit software.

 Then follow the user guidance in XENTRY Diagnostics.

 If two or more instances of control unit programming or SCN coding are carried out during a workshop visit, the operation items 02­4762 and 02­5058 must only be charged once for each workshop order.
