Check

1

Check whether the four bolts (1) on the inside of the vehicle frame have each had a shim fitted to them

If a shim has not been fitted:



Proceed with step 2.

If a shim has been fitted:



Do not perform any more operations.



Remove

Remove screw/bolts (1)

 Replace the bolted connections one after each other so that the spare wheel carrier (2) remains fixed in place on the vehicle.



Install

3

Install new bolts with shim and new nut

 The bolt head must be located on the inside of the vehicle frame.
