Service Information: Painting roof paneling with antenna

4.6.07

MODEL 209, 211, 219, 221

Antenna caps must be painted when installed for reasons of warranty claims and matching color.

When painting the center roof paneling masking takes place without loosening the headliner and removing the antenna.

The antenna caps may not be removed (also not for painting) otherwise no ESD protection (Electrostatic Discharge) and no leaktightness can be guaranteed any more.
