Modification notes
For the recall campaign, only the airbag module referred to in the covering letter with the part no. 140 460 26 98 05 has been approved and may be ordered!
Please do not order part no. 140 460 27 98 as documented in the EPC!
Because of technical modifications some of the color codes have altered.
For models 124 and 202/210 Classic the airbag module for all equipment levels was available in black only.
With regard to this on model 124 there were no footnotes filed in the EPC, or none were necessary.
This helped to prevent unnecessary color footnotes being read, only to discover that the part is only available in black anyway.
For all the other series the color code is to be determined from the EPC using the footnote.
Conduct the assessment using the data card.
