Service Information: Coding of complaints about noise from the pressure relief valve

Due to recent events we would like to point out that complaints about noise, caused by the pressure relief valve (line of pressure limiting valve A 211 800 40 15) with dynamic seats, should be coded under the following damage code (SSL):

Damage code : 80 644

Damage type: 01

This damage code is valid up to August 2006.

 In the case of complaints, caused by the pressure relief valve, which are settled on the basis of warranty and goodwill, the damage code mentioned must be used. We reserve the right to redebit the parts when the damage code is not used.
