It should be noted on the above-mentioned vehicles that the daytime running lights are not switched on until the engine is started.
The daytime running lights can also be activated or deactivated by the customer. The following procedures must be observed:
Deactivate "Daytime running lights" function:
Switch off ignition.
Remove key from ignition lock.
Operate the headlamp flasher at the same time and press the "Unlock vehicle" button on the key. A signal tone is sounded, the daytime driving lights are then deactivated.
Activate "Daytime driving lights" function again:
Switch off ignition.
Remove key from ignition lock.
Operate the headlamp flasher at the same time and press the "Lock vehicle" button on the key. A signal tone is sounded, the daytime driving lights are then activated again.
