For a damaged thread in the lift support points (A, B, C, D) a safe repair is possible by assembling tapping plates (2).

An assembly sleeve is also installed for lift support points (C).

A special tool is required on the front axle carrier mounting (C) for inserting and tightening (fixing in position) the tapping plate. For this purpose the existing special tool168 589 03 31 00 can be modified as per the requirements.
