MODEL 221

On vehicles as of model year 2007 (code 807) or a software update of the instrument cluster A 221 442 23 21 to
software 03/2006 (available since DAS version 05/2006), the following function changes result:

1. When the back key on the steering wheel is operated for a longer period the display in the instrument cluster switches back to the basic menu. Before this change it was possible to reset the trip odometer with this function. The trip odometer can still only be reset via the multifunction display.

2. If 50% of the fuel reserve quantity is consumed, the residual range is faded out in the instrument cluster display. A fuel pump symbol appears without a residual range display.

Please inform the customers about the function change.
