S140 Driver door switch panel

Due to recent events we would like to point out that the driver door switch panel (S140) may only be replaced by a replacement part with the same part number or with a part number determined via the EPC.

The various replacement parts of the driver door switch panel (S140) are distinguished only by a different connector assignment. As a result a short-circuit can occur when installing an incorrect replacement part and thus to irreparable damage to the driver door switch panel (S140)

If a driver door switch panel (S140) from another vehicle is installed for test purposes, the part numbers of the two driver door switch panels must be identical (S140).
