To guarantee start capability and to avoid any consequential damage to the high-voltage battery (HV battery), the HV battery must be cared for in line with specifications.

The HV battery has to be checked or charged at the latest, following an idle time of 6 weeks, relevant to the last engine start.

The HV battery voltage for the hybrid system is to be checked in the Workshop menu in the instrument cluster as described in

AR54.10-P-1129-02SX.

At an HV voltage of less than 125 V the HV battery is to be charged,

as described in AR54.10-P-1170SXH.

If the voltage reaches a value of less than 117 V, the HV battery can no longer be charged. The HV battery then has to be replaced.
