Documentation of repair work in VeDoc

We would like to notify you here of the different procedures involved for documentation in VeDoc.

It is absolutely necessary that some tasks are properly documented in VeDoc to avoid any additional workshop visits.

The documentation, e.g.ensures that subsequent software updates can be made, or that, at a later stage, the correct replacement parts can be found in the EPC.

 If, for example, an exhaust aftertreatment unit is replaced and if during this procedure an exhaust aftertreatment unit, generation I (Wave 1) is replaced by a generation II (Wave 2) unit, the changes in the variant parts list (SAA) must also be made in VeDoc.

There are two different procedures for documentation in VeDoc:

 Workshops with modification authorization

The data are entered directly into VeDoc by the workshop employee with appropriate authorization.

 Workshops without modification authorization

The workshop must send the data to the next higher sales department (Wholesale) through the usual channels (as with e.g. engine replacement) using an additional form so that this sales department can then perform the modifications.
