As a consequence of the service measure with the code "HUTCHINSON", in which an exhaust flex pipe with rubber covering is replaced by an exhaust flex pipe without any rubber covering, we have determined an increasing number of damage instances on the newly installed exhaust flex pipes (1).

We put this, in part, down to an improper installation and possible previous damage during transport.

Therefore, we would like to us emphasize that the operation steps described in the service measure with the code "HUTCHINSON" must be fully adhered to.

Before installation, the new exhaust flex pipe (1) should be inspected for shipping damage or any other form of previous damage, whereby particular attention must be given to checking for damage (3) to the slats (2).
Ensure that the new exhaust flex pipe (1) is in perfect condition and undamaged before installing it.
The exhaust flex pipe (1) must be fitted free of stress.
