Sparks damper
This information aims to instruct that the vehicles Atron, Atego, Axor and Actros, with engines PROCONVE P5 and P7, independently from the model and manufacturing year, equipped with original exhaust system for these vehicles, do not produce any spark of incandescent particles through the exhaust to the atmosphere.
It is not necessary to install any type of sparks damper in these vehicles.
We also highlight that this condition is valid to all the vehicles mentioned above, with the original exhaust system, but if the recommendations prescribed in the Manuals that are supplied with them are complied, and that only fuel properly regulated by the ANP - Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustível (National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuel Agency) is used.
