1 Power steering / fuel pump unit

To avoid non-defective parts from being removed, a detailed inspection following the procedure given below must be performed before the power steering/fuel pump unit (1) is replaced.

Inspection procedure:

1 Clean the power steering/fuel pump unit (1).

2 Perform a short test drive.

3 Perform a visual inspection when the engine is at operating temperature.

4 If there is leakage at fittings, power steering fluid lines or fuel lines, only replace the affected components.

5 Then encode the component causing the problem.

If replacement is unjustified, the associated costs will not be covered by the warranty.
