Lining must be observed for wear once in 5000Km or 10 days whichever is earlier through inspection window.
Brake drum must be disassembled and inspected once in 50000Kms or 6 months whichever is earlier. Inspection of radial play, axial play and wear of bushes should be accurately performed. The brake assembly should be overhauled when the play exceeds the service limit.
Greasing must be performed once in 15000 – 20000Kms or every month with SERVO GEM HTXX or CASTROL AP 02 grease.
The cam shaft bushes, fulcrum pin bushes and all the rubber parts must be replaced with new ones during every overhauling.
The torque of brake assembly bolts and nuts should be checked at every service.
