In May 2018, there were modifications to the compressed-air control system and the compressed-air brake system of the Unimog implement carrier.
During system pressure, there was a change from 18.3 bar to 12.5 bar on the compressed-air system (upstream of the pressure regulator of service brake).
This has been modified in combination with new components.
Various component parts have been replaced on the control of the service brake.
On vehicles with vehicle identification end number 253219 to 256580, the modified compressed-air and brake system can be recognized by the standard code B89 (Low-pressure brake system) in the vehicle data card.
On vehicles as of vehicle identification end number 256581, the code B89 (Low-pressure brake system) is no longer entered in the vehicle data card, but the modified compressed-air and brake system is still installed as standard.
