Due to recent events we would like to notify you that transmission input shafts (1) are increasingly being replaced because of wear on the journal (2) for the guide bearing in the crankshaft.

Before replacing any transmission input shafts (1) the diameter (A) of the journal must be checked first.

The journal diameter (A) of a new transmission input shaft (1) is
25 mm (0.03).

At a journal diameter (A) 23.8 mm, the wear limit has been reached and therefore a replacement of the transmission input shaft (1) warranted and necessary.

In a warranty case the transmission input shaft must be returned through the usual channels to the European Warranty Inspection Center (EuroGBZ).

 In the event of any unwarranted replacement, expenditure incurred will not be settled through a warranty invoice.
