Modification notes
From the start of series production to engine end no. 167236, the hydraulic fan at the MR/PLD control module was connected using plug X1 pins 16/9 and 16/14.
The fan actuator was modified as of engine end no. 167237 with the use of the MR/PLD control module, version F53. Modified pin assignments: X1 pins 16/10 and 16/14.
When the MR/PLD control module is replaced, the version of the control module that is being installed must first be read out using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
As of version F 53, the fan actuator must be connected using plug X1 pins 16/10 and 16/14.
The modified wiring diagram has been included in the "Electric Wiring Diagrams, Volume 3" manual.
