1 Drain bore

 If the area between the engine and transmission bell housing is leaky, then check whether fluid is escaping at the rear out of the drain bore (1) of the V-chamber.

In this connection this may be an oil loss inside the V-chamber (oil heat exchanger, valve cover gasket, ...).

 In order to be able to make an accurate diagnosis with respect to leakage at the rear radial sealing ring, it is a mandatory requirement to clean the area and to apply lime crack detector.
