Removal, installation
-------------------------------
1 Remove burner unit (83-5542).
2 Disconnect plug connection (arrow) for flame monitor (1).
3 Unscrew cross-recessed screw (2) and remove flame monitor.
Note
The glass body of the flame monitor must be cleaned if it is contaminated.
4 Install parts in reverse sequence.
Testing
-------------------------------
1 Connect ohmmeter to the flame monitor (arrows).
2 Darken flame monitor.
3 After approx. 20 seconds, the resistance should have increased to > 100 kW.
4 When the flame monitor is illuminated with a naked flame or a bulb (5 W), the resistance must drop to approx. 300 W.
