42 - 0840 Removal and installation of electronic control unit

Caution
Only remove or install the electronic control unit when the ignition is switched off.
Removal
1 Unscrew fixing screws for cover in right-hand footwell. Fold down cover.

2 Open retaining clip.
3 Remove electronic control unit from the bracket.
4 Operate lock and detach plug from electronic unit.

Installation note
The plug must engage audibly in the plug block of the electronic control unit.
Perform function test.
