Cab top coat
Material:
Standard: One component medium solid top coat (artificial resin)
Metallic: Solvent-based base coat
One component medium solid clearcoat
The top coat is applied on two painting lines. The 20 most popular colors are applied by means of ESTA high-speed rotary dispensers, all other colors, approx. 100 special colors, are applied manually on the second top coat line (pneumatic, via a distributor line system).

Drying takes place in a recirculated air oven at an object temperature of approx. 125 °C, during a time period of 25 min.

Frame top coat
Material:
One component synthetic resin paint, air-drying
Frame and detachable frame parts are coated via cataphoretic immersion priming and the top coat is applied to them manually following the assembly.

Nova gray MB 7350
Red brown MB 3630
Black MB 9124
MB special colors are also available and are gradually painted as of January 1999 using a dual component material.
