Remedy

Scratches from car washes consist of uniform mechanical surface damage, typically close to one another and of varying depth.
This can lead to dulling of the paint surface and is particularly visible with dark colors.

Scratches from car washes result from:

 Insufficient preliminary rinsing.

 Quantity of washing water too low.

 Dirty cleaning equipment.

The following remedies may be successful depending on the degree of damage to the paint surface:

 Polishing by hand with Mercedes-Benz Paint Cleaner.

 Polish paint surface mechanically with Mercedes-Benz Paint Cleaner.

 Apply Mercedes-Benz Paint Care as a final treatment following polishing work.
