Remedy

Paintwork does not have a smooth surface. Structure similar to orange peel.

 Wrong spraying technique.

 Viscosity too high.

 Spraying pressure too high/too low.

 Spray gun interval too great.

 Spray nozzle too large.

 Air drying time not maintained.

 Processing temperature too high.

 Nominal layer thickness not maintained.

A slight orange peel effect is permissible, heavy orange peel effect is not permissible
(in marginal cases permissible in lower areas of zone C).
If orange peel is outside of tolerance:

 Sand with P 1500 followed by P 2000 grain sand paper and polish paint surface mechanically with Mercedes-Benz Paint Cleaner.

Repainting is required only in extreme cases.
