The stone chip protection filler is an additional outer skin primer that is applied electrostatically.
This primer filler, which is polyurethane based and can be diluted with water, creates a tough foundation, which increases mechanical stress resistance and simultaneously improves resistance against stone chipping.
Additionally, the solvent consumption is reduced through the hydrofiller.
The entire body outer skin, inside of doors including the fold areas as well as some underfloor areas are painted with these hydrofillers .
Moreover, the rocker panel areas are also coated with highly elastic structural material.
