Function
The A/C compressor microswitch (S27/6) sends a signal to the pushbutton control module. The pushbutton control module evaluates this signal and at the following values sends a control signal to the electromagnetic clutch causing it to shut off the A/C compressor:
When the throttle is completely depressed at an engine speed of less than approx . 1050 rpm, the A/C compressor is switched off and switched back on only when the engine speed has reached approx. 2150 rpm.
This A/C compressor cutout improves startup and acceleration.
