Location
The A/C control unit is located on the front side of the A/C housing on the passenger side.

The climate control control unit reads in the signals from the high voltage PTC heater temperature sensor (N33/5b1) (for hybrid vehicles) via air conditioning control LIN 2.
Air conditioning control LIN 3 (with code 1U6 (Refrigerant R744))
The climate control control unit reads in the CO2 sensor signals (B98) over the climate control LIN 3.

The climate control control unit reads in the signals from the following components via the climate control LIN:
Stationary heater radio remote control receiver (A6/1) (with code 228 (Stationary heater))
Climate control operating unit (N58/1)
Rear air conditioning operating unit (N22/4) (with code 581 (Automatic air conditioning))

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
