Engine/AC electric suction fan, function



Function

The engine/AC electric suction fan (M4/3) operates at 20 % capacity for basic ventilation when the air conditioning is switched on.

The fan speed is increased infinitely depending on the refrigerant pressure and/or coolant temperature.

The engine control module (N3) receives the refrigerant temperature from the coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) and the instrument cluster (A1) via the CAN bus and the serial interface (K2) for the AAC control module and the AAC pushbutton control module (N19, N22) receives the refrigerant pressure from the refrigerant pressure sensor (B12).

The input information is transmitted from the engine control module (N3) to the engine and air conditioning electric suction fan control module (N76).

There the input information is compared with stored values and the speed of the engine/AC electric suction fan (M4/3) increased if required.
