Location

The roof antenna (A2/49) is fitted to the rear in the center of the vehicle roof.

Tasks (up to model year 09)

Transmitting telephone signals (D-net and E-net)

Receiving and forwarding telephone signals via the E-net compensator (A28/3) and the UPCI [UHI] cell phone holder (Universal Handy Interface) (A34/15) to the Universal Cell phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).

Receiving and forwarding Global Positioning System (GPS) signals to the navigation processor (N41/1)
