Processing signals
With code 536 (SIRIUS satellite radio) the tuner unit decodes and amplifies the satellite signals and the terrestrial signals in pulse code modulation (PCM) signals.
With CODE 537 (Digital radio (DAB)), the tuner unit decodes the DAB band III signals into PCM signals.
With CODE 865 (TV tuner), the tuner unit decodes and demodulates the TV signals and separates them into video and audio signals.
With CODE 865 (TV tuner) and CODE 537 (Digital radio (DAB)), the tuner unit separates the DAB-Band-III signals from the TV signals on the TV 1 antenna input.

The tuner unit is a MOST participant and it communicates over this with the head unit. The audio signals are sent to the head unit or to the sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) (with CODE 810 (Sound system)).
