The control module contains the following function elements:
- RF receiver
- Interface for central locking or anti-theft alarm
- Interface to electronic engine circuitry (immobilizer)
- Output for immobilizer indicator lamp
- Input, C. 15
- Input door contact
- Algorithm for decoding (cryptology)
- EEPROM memory as non-volatile memory
The interface to the electronic engine circuitry is realized in the form of two versions:
- as CAN interface with bidirectional communication
- and as PWM output.
