When a valid infrared remote control signal is received the vehicle is "locked" if it was previously in the "unlocked" state. The confirmation "locked" is accomplished via the "red" confirmation lamp in the receiver module as well as via the turn signal system.


When the infrared remote control is actuated continuously on models 129/149/202/210 the convenience feature is actuated for closing the side windows.
The "red" confirmation lamp comes on as long as the remote control is actuated.

When the vehicle is locked manually via the lock cylinders in one of the front doors or the trunk, the vehicle locking operation or convenience feature is also actuated.

The "red" indicator lamp or turn signals are not actuated.

Special functions

If a key is inserted in the ignition/starter switch (S2/1), the remote control does not function:

— when the ignition is ON

— for approx. 2 sec. after switching OFF the ignition
